SqURL Release Notes

1. In order for SqURL to search the Internet, Winsock must be running.
To test for Winsock, try to run your favorite Web Browser, e.g. Netscape.
If your Web Browser won't run, you need to work on your Internet Winsock
   connection until it does.
SqURL 32-bit needs a 32-bit Winsock connection, much like a Web Browser does.

2. Be aware that SqURL will work with Compuserve, but not with America Online (AOL).

Each search module you add to SqURL adds to its power. Some
search modules are General Search Modules. These are search
modules that will create a search for any keyword. Examples
of General Search Modules are Lycos, Yahoo, WebCrawler, etc.
For Non-General Search Modules, you add each search individually
to a Subject. Examples of Non-General Search Modules are The
Virtual Headbook (for actors), The Car Lot (for autos), etc.

To add a Search Module to SqURL, simply copy the SqURL Search
Module (<file>.SSM for 16-bit or <file>.S32 for 32-bit) to the
same directory as SqURL.EXE or SqURL32.EXE. The SqURL program
will automatically detect and use the new Search Module.

More Search Modules are being added every day. If you have
purchased SqURL Pro, you will be sent updates to the Search
Modules on a quarterly basis.
