                     <<< CIDMan - README.TXT >>>

CIDMan will, based upon entries in the Caller Database (CDB), block
callers, announce callers, or execute a script. CIDMan will page you
(alpha and numeric pagers are supported) when certain callers call or
certain types of calls (Out-of-area, Private, unknown, etc.) are
received. Phone Features (Pheatures) Management - CIDMan can be used to
enable and disable the various CLASS features offered by the phone
company. A Dialing Directory for calling callers in the CDB at the
press of a button. Per-Call Caller-ID (Un-)Blocking and/or Call Waiting
Disable may be enabled on all outgoing calls placed by CIDMan. Outgoing
calls may be placed using one of four dialing methods: Local-7,
Local-10, 1+Long-Distance, and Prefixed Long-Distance. Calls marked
"PRIVATE" may be blocked. Ghost Numbers are supported to manage those
callers who may be calling from one of several lines (or from
multi-trunk PBX systems) - these numbers may be associated with a single
entry in the CDB. A per-caller history is kept noting the date/time of
each call received from the caller. A notebook file may be brought up
on a per-caller basis on received calls. An External Comm Program (ECP)
interface for invoking other applications which wish to use the modem on
which CIDMan is listening for CID data. The system time may be set from
the CID timestamp data. Number readout on Unknown and CDB Callers.
