                          dMail for Windows v1.0b (final)

The program is designed for reading, processing and storing the received mail,
and also for sending your letters, replies, binary files, etc. by 
UUCP-g protocol (modem or TCP/IP), SMTP, POP3, NNTP news reading in the
Internet electronic mail systems (Relcom).

                          System Requirements:

- IBM/PC AT 386/SX (or compatible) or more powerfull;
- RAM: 2 Megabytes or more;
- available space on Hard Drive - 10+ Megabytes;
- Microsoft Windows v 3.1 or higher, running in 386 ENHANCED MODE;
- Mouse.

                          Installation:

        To install this program on your computer:
a) create a directory on hard drive;
b) copy program files to this directory or unpack archive with
    compressed files to this directory;
c) run program INSTALL.EXE from MS-Windows shell and answer the questions;
d) pay special attention on setting Flow Control for COM-port to Hardware
   or None (to do this open [Control Panel] -> [Ports] icon,
   then select your COM port number, set Flow Control to Hardware/None).
e) if you are going to use protocols working over TCP/IP (UUCP-g, SMTP, 
   POP3,NNTP), you must add the call of WINPKT.COM program from this package to
   AUTOEXEC.BAT file after the network adapter driver loading. Here comes the 
   example for Novell NetWare:

   c:\net\ne2000.exe -w 0x60 5 0x300
   c:\net\ipx.exe
   c:\net\emsnetx.exe
   c:\dml_win\winpkt.com 0x60
   :LOGIN
   login demos/kvaker

   When you restart WINDOWS Trumpet Winsock program will ask you about the
   following information:
   - IP address - IP address of your machine;
   - Netmask - network mask of your subnet;
   - Default Gateway - IP address of the default router;
   - Name server - IP address of the Network Domain Server;
   - Packet vector - hexadecimal value of WINPKT.COM driver vector number.

f) if you won't use the protocols working over TCP/IP, you should remove the 
   Trumpet Winsock icon from WINDOWS STARTUP.GRP group.
