What is SymDyn ?

SymDyn is short for Symmetrical Dynamic Pattern Generator.

It produces continuously changing patterns in response to music or any sound input to your computer. You can control the form, colour and mutation of these patterns by adjusted various controls in the Color Sequence and Pattern Generation property pages. You can also select any audio or wave input source to your computer and its sampling mode (8/16 Bit, mono/stereo, 11k/22k etc). These settings can be saved to be reloaded later allowing you to create a library of pattern effects for each type of music you listen to. For a guide to setting up and starting SymDyn see Starting SymDyn. If you have a CDROM on your PC you can select the CDROM to be the audio source and then sit back and watch the fascinating patterns being displayed on you PC while you listen to you favorite tracks.
