1.Overview

  BondTrak is a system to keep track of and calculate redemption values
  for U.S. Savings Bonds. Redemption values are available for individual
  bonds, or reports by name, social security number or bond series.

  This system has been developed under the shareware concept. You may look 
  at and keep this software, but if you use it, you must register with the
  author. Registered users of this system will be notified when new re-
  demption tables or new versions of this system are available.

2.Bond Redemption Value   

  Bond redemption values in this program are based on the "Table of
  Redemption Values", form PD 3600 available from the U.S. Treasury
  department.

4.Hardware Requirements

     IBM PC or compatible 

     Hard disk with 1.5mb free disk space

     640K

     Mouse (recomended)


5.Installation

  DOS
      Put disk in drive A:

      A:

       install [Floppy Disk Drive:]  [Hard Disk Drive:]  

           where [Floppy Disk Drive] is the drive letter(with colon)  
                 into which you have placed the BondTrak install disk
           and [Hard Disk Drive] is the drive letter (with colon)
                where you wish to load this software.
 
       Example:   a:\>install a: c:    

  Windows
       1. Follow the directions for loading to DOS.
       2. In Windows open a group icon.
       3. Select FILE, NEW, PROGRAM ITEM.
       4. Description = BONDTRAK
          Command Line = C:\bondtrak\bondtrak.pif
          Click CHANGE ICON
          Click ok on message about no icons available for this file.
          Enter c:\bondtrak\bondtrak.ico
          click ok, ok, ok

  OS/2
       1. Follow the directions for loading DOS.
       2. Create a folder with:
          Program
             path & filename - C:\bondtrak\bondtrak.exe    
             working directory - c:\bondtrak
          General
             Find
             Name=bondtos2.ico
             startfolder=c:
             Find
             Double click on icon

6. Online Help

   Help is available on-line by pressing the F1 key at any time.


7. Registration Information                                 

   This product is shareware
   see BTREGIST.TXT or select VIEW REGISTRATION INFORMATION on the menu.


8.Distribution License Agreement

  This system may be copied and distributed on the following
  conditions:

   1. The system must be distributed in its entire form.

   2. Only a nominal fee may be charged for copying the disks.

   3. Your library listing must state that this is shareware,

      and it is provided to allow the user to evaluate it

      before paying.

     This software is sold "AS IS" and without warranties as to
     performance of merchantability or any other warranties whether
     expressed or implied. The author will not be held liable for any
     special, incidental, consequential or indirect damages. The
     person using the software bears all risk as to the quality and
