Route 1 Pro release 1.1
          for Microsoft Windows 3.1

Welcome to Route 1 Pro, the premier shell for Windows. Route 1 Pro consists
of a multifunction button bar supplimented by several powerful tools. A
complete script language and scheduler are integrated into the shell, along
with a simple and efficient file management system. Disk Jockey, a bar of
drive icons provides access to FileFolders, along side of Route 1 Pro.

Route 1 Pro sports two clocks, a memory display, SubMenus, drag-drop support,
sound, event scheduling, password protection, support for multiple users,
eyes that follow the cursor, and much more. After using Route 1 Pro, you'll
never want to go back to plain old Windows again.

Here are some brief instructions to get you started. There is a help file
included with Route 1 Pro that explains all of its features, and how to use
them. I strongly recommend looking over the help file, so that you can take
full advantage of Route 1 Pro. Veteran users please look at "What's new".
It explains how to access SubMenus, create scripts, and contains useful
hints, suggestions and shortcuts. Help is accessible through Route 1 Pro
by pressing [?] in any menu, dialog box, or Route 1 Pro window.

TO INSTALL ROUTE 1:

Select "Run..." from Program Manager's File menu, (or your current
     shell) and type:

                    d: install

where d: is the disk drive containing the Route1 installation files.

note: if INSTALL.EXE fails, open a DOS window, swich to the drive and
directory with the Route 1 Pro installation files, and type
            "ALTSETUP.BAT."

I hope you enjoy and use Route 1.
