This file should replace any batchlnk.zip file that already exists.
This file removes any installation problems that might have occurred by
the VBasic Setup program.

Batch Link 1.0 is a Windows program that allows the user to create,
modify, and run batch files without having to create individual icons
for each batch file. When a file is selected from the list, a
description of the batch file will appear to the right so that
information about the file is readily available. Files can be edited or
viewed and then saved. The program includes a button to run the PIF
editor, as well. Finally, Restart and Reboot capability has been
included.
Batch Link is ideal for those who run batch files from within
Windows. By simply placing your batch files in one directory, they are
easily accessible and run within one program. For your convenience, the
program allows you to describe the file, view, edit, save, and run the
file. If you need a specialized DOS window, one button takes you to the
PIF editor where you can just press <Ctrl> V to paste the file's path in
the PIF editor. Then just save it.
Setup: Unzip the compressed files into the same directory or you can
place the exe file in its own directory and the vbx and dll files in the
Windows/System directory. Note: To save space and downloading time,
Vbrun300.dll is not included. It is required to run the program. You
can find the file on many BBS's or at ftp.microsoft.com and
ftp.cica.indiana.edu.

The program is provided as shareware. Take 21 days to evaluate the
program, and if you find it useful, the registration fee is $10 and
should be sent to:
	Jim Fishinghawk
	PO Box 2306
	Goleta, CA 93118

Until the program is registered a nag screen will appear when the
program is exited. It is an annoyance, but it is there to remind users
that there was a certain amount of work put into the program for which
the author would appreciate acknowledgment lest the strain become
unbearable.  Still, I realize that money can be tight at times;
consequently, if the $10 fee is unaffordable, a lesser amount would be
appreciated. Please, please, please don't abuse this policy. It exists
for those who need it.

Comments, suggestions, etc., can be sent to jhawk@edstar.gse.ucsb.edu.
Feedback is always appreciated.
