1.	Introduction
Chronos Clock provides a floating desktop clock, which has the ability to display multiple clocks showing the date and time in different time zones and in a variety of styles and formats. Additional features include a powerful alarm system; popup calendar with daily diary notes and reminders, Internet time synchronization to ensure your PC's clock is fully up-to-date. 
This program is Shareware; you can use it for 30 days free of charge to evaluate it. If at the end of that period you want to continue using it, then your copy must be registered. Your single-user registration will license you to use your copy of Chronos, will entitle you to receive bug fixes and minor revisions, and also provide you with free technical support via email.

Chronos may be freely distributed as a complete package and without any kind of modifications.
2. Hardware Requirements.
Chronos runs under Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT4 and Windows 2000 with 3.5MB free disc space. If you wish to use the Internet time synchronization function then a suitable connection via a modem must be available.
3.	Installing Chronos
If you have downloaded Chronos as a ZIP file then use a decompression utility such as WinZip or PkUnzip to unpack the ZIP file into a suitable directory (such as C:\Program Files\Chronos).
Run the installation program SETUP_CHRONOS.EXE, and then follow the instructions.
If you already have a version of Chronos installed and wish to update it, then it is not necessary to remove the old version first. However you must ensure you shut Chronos Clock down first, or the new installation may fail
4.	Uninstalling Chronos
Shut down Chronos before uninstalling. Go to "Add/Remove Programs" in the control panel and uninstall Chronos from there.

28 March 2000 - Version 1.0.0 released.

21 April 2000 - Version 1.0.1 released. Clock date display now formats the date in line with your PC's Regional Options & displays Month/Day/Year, Day/Month/Year or Year/Month/Day depending on the setting. Dialog Boxes now display correctly if the Windows Scheme is changed. An option to enable/disable the animation of the system tray icon has been added to Chronos Options. An option to set the display position used by Add Clock has been included in Chronos Options.

03 May 2000 - Version 1.0.1.1 released.  Installer settings amended to allow for installation on NT4.
