ELECARD MPEG2 Player allows software-only
MPEG 1 and MPEG 2 playback on a regular PC.
The Player is a GUI (graphical user
interface) to ELECARD MPEG2 Video Decoder,
a DirectShow filter, which is an actual
MPEG decoding engine.

o Full-resolution full-quality decoding/playback
o Real-time full-quality D1 resolution streams
  (720x480 @ 30fps for NTSC, 720x576 @ 25 fps for PAL)
  playback on Pentium II 450 MHz width DirectX compatible
  video card supporting YUV overlay
o Real-time D1 resolution streams playback at bitrate
  up to 15 MBit/s on Pentium III 500 MHz
o High precision arithmetics (IEEE 1180-1190
  compliant IDCT, half-pel motion compensation
  for I,P and B frames)
o Optimized for most efficient CPU usage
o Supports DirectShow and ActiveMovie interface


SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

o MMX-enhanced CPU (Intel Pentium MMX, Pentium II,
  Celeron, Pentium III, AMD K6-2, K6-3, Athlon, etc.)
o Windows 95/98/NT/2000 with DirectShow installed
o 32 MB RAM
o Any VGA card
o 700 KB of free disk space


INSTALLATION

Run 'EMpgPlayInst.exe' and follow installation
instructions. After installaton complete the
'Elecard\MPEG2 Player' folder is created.
To uninstall run 'Uninstall MPEG Player' from
'Elecard\MPEG2 Player' folder.
