Introduction:
============
Web TimeLog is a program for keeping track of on-line time and costs. It can keep track of multiple ISPs. The current version only handles dial-up connections. This is a Windows 95/98 program.

===================
Distribution
===================
Web TimeLog is shareware and this version of the program is a fully functional demo that has a trial period of 30 days from the installation date. There are no nag screens. Details of purchase of the full version is available below. Owners of the full version are entitled to receiving future
updates to Web TimeLog for free.

====================
System Requirements:
====================
Any Hardware running Win 95/98 with DialUp Networking installed.
This version of Web TimeLog is only 227Kb and consumes very little system resources. It was written in ANSI C using the pure Windows API for better speed and smaller size. In fact it carries no additional libraries. It was compiled using a very efficient compiler called LCCWin32 from Jacob Navia.

=============
Installation:
=============
Download the zip file and unzip it into any folder in drive C. Run Webtime.exe from there. Web TimeLog will create its own directory, install itself and by default, will run automatically whenever you start your computer.

==========
Operation:
==========
Web TimeLog runs conveniently in the system tray portion of the taskbar. Double-Clicking its icon will open Web TimeLog window. Whether hidden or not, it detects when you log onto the Internet, when you log off or when the connection is broken. At this point it logs the logon and log off times. When you log off from a connection for the first time, it asks you to configure the account details for that connection(ISP).This is necessary for keeping track of costs.

============
Future Plans:
============
These features will be available in up-coming versions:-
Ability to ping the ISP so as to keep the connection alive.
Ability to track uploaded and downloaded bytes.
Ability to display graphical info about the connections made.
Ability to start other programs depending on connection status.
These features will be freely available to registered users.
