SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Money Math requires a compatible PC computer with Windows 95/98/NT
installed and running. The current memory in your computer should be
adequate if you are able to use other Windows applications
satisfactorily. The hard disk space needed is less than 600 kilobytes.

MONEY MATH (TM) INSTALLATION

You will probably receive Money Math in one of two ways. In the first
way, you will have a floppy disk with all of the individual files
listed below:

MONYMATH.EXE - Money Math executable for Windows 95/98/NT or greater
MONYMATH.HLP - Money Math help for Windows 95/98/NT or greater
ORDER.TXT - Purchase Order form for Users (Use Notepad to open)
README.TXT - Program Description and Install information (this file)
MEDIA.WRI - Quick start for Money Math (Reviewers and Media)
OVERVIEW.TXT - Overview of Money Math (Reviewers)
VERSION.TXT - Money Math revision history
MONYMATH.CNT - Money Math Help index
MFCH12.DLL - Money Math helper Library
INSTALL.EXE - Installation Program for Money Math

VENDINFO.DIZ - Vendor and Distributor information
FILE_ID.DIZ - BBS description of Money Math
VENDOR.TXT - (use VENDINFO.DIZ for all information)

If you have a disk with all of the files listed above, use the
instructions given in the section below titled, "USING THE INSTALL
PROGRAM".

The second way to receive Money Math is in a compressed file or
archive. The compressed file name should be MOMATH6.xxx where "xxx"
indicates which file compression utility was used. In this case, use
the suggestions given in the section titled "INSTALL FROM A COMPRESSED
FILE".

If you prefer to install Money Math manually, see the section titled,
"INSTALL MANUALLY" below.

USING THE INSTALL PROGRAM

To install Money Math, start up Windows and put the Money Math floppy
disk in Drive A. Follow the directions in the paragraphs below:

From the Start menu select Run. Type "A:INSTALL" in the dialog box that
appears. After you press the ENTER key or click on the OK button, the
Install program will start on the floppy drive. If you are installing
from B drive, substitute the letter B for the letter A above.

The Install program will copy the Money Math files to a new folder
titled "Money Math" on your hard drive (C:). You will have an
opportunity to revise the folder name and installation location. Click
on the OK button or press the ENTER key to start the file transfer to
the folder you selected.

A menu item titled, "Money Math" will be added to the Start menu with
"shortcuts" to the first six files listed above.

INSTALL FROM A COMPRESSED FILE

If you received Money Math as a single file such as MOMATH6.ZIP, copy
this file to a temporary folder on your hard drive. Next, decompress
the file using a decompression utility program such as WinZip. Several
other compression/decompression utilities are in common use. You can
probably obtain the correct utility from the same place you obtained
the Money Math archive.

If the Money Math archive file name is MOMATH6.EXE, you decompress it
by running it from your temporary folder. Just double-click on the file
name in Explorer and the program will decompress. No other utilities
are needed.

Once the archive file is decompressed, you should have all of the files
listed above in your temporary folder. Now you can install Money Math
as described above in the section titled, "USING THE INSTALL PROGRAM".
Instead of typing "A:INSTALL" in the Run dialog box, you would type,
"C:\TMP\INSTALL", where C:\TMP is the current hard drive and temporary
folder where the files are located.

INSTALL MANUALLY

If you prefer to install Money Math manually, copy the first nine files
listed above to the folder of your choice. Next, create a Start menu
item by adding a folder called "Money Math" in the Windows\Start
Menu\Progams folder. Now, add four "shortcuts" to the "Money Math"
folder for the first six files you copied to the folder of your choice
above.

RUNNING MONEY MATH

Start Money Math by clicking on the Start menu and selecting the
Programs menu item. Now, select the Money Math menu and then select the
new Money Math menu displayed.

Selecting Exit from the File menu closes Money Math. You can also use
the Alt+F4 key combination to do the same thing.

UNINSTALL MONEY MATH

Using Explorer, delete the folder containing the Money Math files.
First, select the folder and then delete it by pressing the 'Delete'
key. Money Math places a file named, "monymath.ini" in the Windows
folder of your computer. You may also delete this file.

To remove the "Money Math" item from the Start menu, move to the
Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder using Explorer. Expand the folder by
clicking on the "+". Now, click on the Money Math folder and press the
delete key.

MONEY MATH DOCUMENTATION

All of the Money Math features are documented in Money Math Help and
can be accessed by selecting menu item Help/Topics.

All of the menu items are fully documented in Money Math Help including
the 18 Calculation examples. The examples are available by selecting
the Help/Examples menu item. Context sensitive help is available by
highlighting a menu item and pressing the F1 key.

To get started, click on the Help/Topics menu item. Then, review the
introductory items listed below:

	Overview of Money Math
	Financial Analysis
	List of Financial Calculations
	Financial Problem Solving
	Calculation Dialog Boxes
	List of Examples
	Money Math Keyboard

The "Money Math Users Guide" will be sent to you when you purchase the
software. It contains additional topics such as a first calculation
tutorial, financial analysis fundamentals, and financial mathematics
introduction.

SHAREWARE

Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before
buying it. If you try Money Math and continue using it for over 30
days, you are required to purchase it by registering. Any fees you paid
to obtain the Shareware version were copying and distribution fees and
did not cover the registration payment required for continued use of
the program.

Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of software. You should
find software that suits your needs and pocketbook, whether it's
commercial or Shareware. The Shareware system makes fitting your needs
easier, because you can try before you buy. And because the overhead is
low, prices are low also. Shareware has the ultimate money-back
guarantee -- if you don't use the product, you don't pay for it.
