ArgoNaut is a GPS program for sailors and also for car owners,
walkers and so on.

ArgoNaut is free to copy and use. But for support and to receive
the chart registration program ArgoMap, you must register the
software. That is to say ArgoNaut is a shareware package.

This is the updated 32-bit version of ArgoNaut 1.0.

With a connected GPS-receiver with nmea interface it's easy
to follow the travel and to get the position. Its useable
with any scanned chart or map. Your own scanned charts will
do. However the charts (bitmap files) must first be registered
with ArgoMap before they can be used by ArgoNaut.

ArgoNaut can calculate times and distances in order to optimize
the sailing route.

Other areas of use are log book and alarms.

In argom32s.zip are included:
readme.txt - Information text
argonaut.exe - Executable
argonaut.hlp - Help file
olgotl_2.map - Map registration file
olgotl.bmp - Sample chart

Installation: Just copy the argonaut.exe
,olgotl_2.map and argonaut.hlp to your
harddisk and start.

The sample chart file ol_gotl.bmp must be copied
to the c:\argonaut directory, since the sample map
registration file (OLGOTL_2.map) keeps this path
to the sample bitmap.
