1. Purpose of Verbix

1.1. THIRTY+ LANGUAGES IN YOUR HANDS

Verbix is linguistic software, that helps in verb grammar.
It is designed for students of foreign languages to help with
the verb inflections. The languages available are the following:

- Romance languages: Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, 
  Romanian, Galician, Catalan & Occitan.
- Germanic languages: English, Swedish, German, Dutch, 
  Norwegian, Danish & Icelandic.
- Ugric languages: Finnish & Setu.
- Celtic languages: Irish (gaelic).
- Extinct languages: Latin, Gothic, Old English & Middle High-German
- an many more...

1.2. CONJUGATIONS

Verbix forms the inflections based on the given infinitive.
In addition to this, Verbix is able to convert any verbal 
form to an infinitive.


1.3. CLEAR COLOR CODES

There are certain color in the verb color tables that help to
see at once some special features of the verb forms:

  - BLACK is used to show regular verb forms
  - RED indicates, the form is irregular
  - BLUE indicates that there are some phonetic or 
    ortographic changes in the form.
  - MAGENTA indicates that the verb is either obsolete
    or a regionalism
  - GREY indicates that the verbal form doesn't exist.
    

1.4. AND MUCH MORE

+ Verbix shows besides the current verb's inflections
  a list with all verbs conjugated in the same manner.
+ Many verbs include extra information, which further
  explains them.
+ Many verbs include translations into the equivalents
  in other languages.
+ The availability of extinct languages helps in getting 
  knowledge of ancient verbal forms.
+ Maps show, where the language is/were spoken.
+ Animation(s) shows further information.

2. Installation of Verbix

To install Verbix, simply run setup.exe.

There are three installation types:
a) Standard
b) Minimum
c) Custom


Normally you can choose Standard installation. You will get 
most features of Verbix installed. Standard installation
needs 24.8 MB of hard disk storage.

If you don't have enough space on the hard disk for standard
installation, you may choose Compact installation. In this 
case, you don't get all languages in use. Compact installation
needs 5.7 MB of hard disk storage.

Choosing custom installation, you can easily click and choose
the degree of functionality desired. Using this feature, you
can also have the Verbix screen saver to be installed!
Depending on the chosen installation options, Verbix
requires 4.0-40.0 MB of hard disk storage.

3. Verbix is shareware

The start-up screen of Verbix reminds that Verbix is 
shareware.

You can use Verbix in 30 days. After that you have to
either stop from using it or purchase the product.

4. Distribution notes

You are allowed to distribute Verbix in any electronic
format on any media. In case of redistribution, following
rules have to be applied:

1.  Verbix must be distributed either
      a) as conj31?.zip (Simtel archive package) or
      b) as conj31?.exe (Self-extracting package)
    ...where '?' in the file name is any character 
    between 'a' and 'z'.

2.  The Author (Erik Lindberg) and Verbix homepage
    ( www.verbix.com ) must be
    mentioned.

3.  The Author must be notified about this:
