WinChimes2_0 runs in your Windows "System Tray" and sits quietly until the hour or quarter hour passes, then it chimes in grandfather clock fashion. You can use the default chime sound files included, or you can select any .wav file of your preference. Other time related features include an alarm and a adjustable "silent period". In addition, I've included a perpetual calendar good for the years ranging from 0001 to 9999.

WinChimes2_0 requires at least a Windows 95 or 98, a 486 processor and a sound card. Note that the program will not use your PC speaker.

To install, simple click "Setup.exe" It will automatically install the program to your computer. I recommend that you accept the option to allow it to be installed into your Windows "StartUp" menu. This way WinChimes2_0 will start each time you boot your computer.
Note that this program is also self de-installing.

WinChimes2_0 is freeware. It's not crippled in any way. You are free to use and redistribute it as you wish. If you use and enjoy the program you may register it for a minimum fee, but understand that this is not required. Registration gets you a "plug-in" program, which adds additional features. See the HELP file for details.

I hope you enjoy WinChimes. I've had many nice comments from the beta-testers that were nice enough to test it for me. You'll have an easy time installing it and learning its features.

Thanks for your interest!
