Visual Basic Programmable Voice Telephony Software Tool For Dialogic Boards

The SVSERVER is a synchronized voice server which allows Visual Basic
and\or any database or application language which supports the Microsoft DDEML
to drive Dialogic professional voice boards.

The client application sends function commands as an ascii string via
the Dynamic Data Exchange medium of Microsoft Windows DDEML to the SVSERVER
application which receives the commands and executes them via an interface to the
Dialogic Multithread Function Library. When the function completes, the SVSERVER
returns the Dialogic function status and any data to the client application.

The design of SVSERVER permits multiple client applications having different
channel assignments to interact with the voice server simultaneously. For instance,
one application may be running voice mail on channels 1 to 4 while some other
automated telephony application runs using channels 5 to 8.

This download supplies two sample Visual Basic 6.0 client programs with
executables that access the voice server software. In addition, documentation
is provided to enhance your understanding of the voice client server interaction
and operation in developing voice telephony applications using the SVSERVER.

Please Note: The SVSERVER application must be launched with command line
arguments or it will not load. (-See documentation ) Start one of the sample
application executables and launch the SVSERVER from there.
