Registry Tools 2.0a - README.TXT

1. Purpose. Registry Tools 2.0 is a Windows based application that
is designed to make the process of backing up (and if necessary)
restoring the Windows' Registry, a simple, one-step process. This
utility is written in Delphi and has a graphic (almost Web-like)
interface. The application allows you to make registry backups and
restores quickly and easily. This program is designed for Windows95
but also runs on Windows 3.x and Windows 98. Registry Files can be
backed up or restored from Windows, SafeMode, or DOS. Users also have the
option of creating a "FIX-IT DISK" with this utility that will allow
them to boot their computers to a command prompt in the event that
Window won't boot, and from there there is a DOS-BASED utility that
will restore the registry files. Detailed Windows based helpfiles
are included with this program to guide the user through registry
concepts as well as to augment the use of this program.

2. Installation. The 'setup.exe' file is a self extracting
executable, that launches a fully-configurable installation process.
Complete resources are also included to UnInstall this software
through Add/Remove Programs.

3. Shareware. Registry Tools 2.0 is a shareware product. You may
evaluate this program for 30 days at no cost. If you choose to
keep using Registry Tools 2.0 after the 30 day period, you are
encouraged to register your copy. NOTE: THIS IS A FULLY FUNCTIONAL
COPY OF REGISTRY TOOLS - THERE ARE "NO" ANNOYING POPUP MESSAGES OR
LIMITATIONS OF FEATURES. So, you are not "forced" to register, but
if you intend to keep using the program beyond the evaluation period,
please register your copy. The registration fee is $5.00 and entitles
you to a free copy of the next full-release version of Registry Tools.
Please see the help documentation for details on registration.

4. Distribution. You may freely distribute this software, either
individually or bundled with other shareware products, as long as
the program is distributed in its entirety and the application and
supporting help files, etc. are not altered. Please review the
license.txt file for more complete details on distribution. If you
