Thank you for your interest in Funduc Software's Explorer
Extensions!

To install Explorer Extensions, follow the instructions below.
You may also download a self-installing version of Explorer
Extensions shareware from our web site, http://www.funduc.com.
The self-install version will install the program into the
directory of your choice and create an uninstall option.

Win95/98/NT Installation:
-------------------------

1 - Unzip Fsexpext.dll, Fsexpext.hlp, order.txt, readme.txt, and
fsexpext.reg into the subdirectory of your choice. We suggest
using
     c:\tools\fsexpext
although any subdirectory will do.

2 - To enable the Explorer shell extension you will need to merge
the file, fsexpext.reg, into the Windows registry. If you used
c:\tools\fsexpext as the subdirectory in step 1, fsexpext.reg can be
merged as is. To do this, open an Explorer view of
c:\tools\fsexpext, right click on fsexpext.reg, and select "Merge".

If you used another path in step 1, you will need to edit
fsexpext.reg before merging it into the registry. Open fsexpext.reg
with a text editor such as notepad.exe and adjust all lines
containing the string C:\\tools\\fsexpext\\ to the subdirectory you
installed the program into. You _must_ double the \ characters. For
example, if you unpacked the archive into the subdirectory
d:\funduc\ee you would replace all instances of
C:\\tools\\fsexpext\\ with d:\\funduc\\ee\\. Once you have finished
editing fsexpext.reg, merge it into the registry as described above.

3 - That's it. On some computers you may need to close any open
Explorer folder/file views and reopen them to activate the
extensions. In most cases, however, you can begin using them right
away by right clicking on a file or folder.
