A-Flow - Software Applications Visual Designer. Version 3.0
===========================================================

STATUS              : SHAREWARE
DISTRUBUTION STATUS : FREELY DISTRIBUTABLE

DESCRIPTION OF PURPOSE

A-Flow is a general-purpose software development and authoring tool suitable
for creating a wide range of Windows (TM) applications, which comprises, but is
not confined to:

* Presentation and multimedia applications.
* Computer-based training and testing applications.
* Dynamic gaming applications (such as "brick" game).
* Interactive database applications.
* System utilities, shells and integrated end-user environments.
* And many others...

A-Flow completely visualizes applications under development. You do not write
application code but rather draw it by using a point-and-click approach.

A-Flow also provides interoperability (through sockets) with other software
even developed by other means and running under other operating platforms in a
distributed computing environment.

SUPPORTED INTERFACES AND STANDARDS

Supported interfaces and standards include:

* Microsoft MCI. A simple, but quite flexible support for multimedia
  applications is provided.
* WinSock 1.1. A support for managing client-side sockets is provided.
* A-Flow Plug-ins. A support for using other software through custom DLLs is
  also provided.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

* An Intel x86-based personal computer running Microsoft Windows 95 (or
  higher) or Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 (or higher).
* About 2 Mbytes of available hard disk space.
* A mouse or other pointing device.

INSTALLATION AND LAUNCHING

Run the setup application (named SETUP.EXE) and follow the instructions.

The setup application will extract all the necessary files to the folder of
your choice, register several file types and create the A-Flow program group
(shortcuts) on the Start menu. Launch "A-Flow Designer".

UNINSTALLATION

By now, A-Flow does not come with an automatic uninstallation feature. However,
you can completely remove A-Flow from your system by removing the following
items:

* The folder (together with its contents) where all A-Flow files are installed.
* The A-Flow program group (shortcuts) from the Start menu.
* AFLOW.INI from the Windows folder (usually C:\WINDOWS).
* Entries for "A-Flow Project" and "A-Flow Executable" (File Types tab).
