Advanced Use:
AE was designed for PC as a Personal Information Management program. It may run well through
the networks, though the current version of AE was not designed for networks.

Here are some strategies of using AE through the networks.
1. AE may access an address book file (*.aep file) through the network. You may select 'Load from'
of the 'File' menu, then navigate through the 'Network Neighborhood' to find the location where
the address book is stored. Or, you may change the default location of storing address books from
the 'Option' dialog.
2. You may install AE on the server, and create shortcuts on each of workstations. Please be sure
to copy 'midas.dll' to 'system' or 'system32' folder of each station. After a user on a workstation
close AE, AE will update 'ae.ini' and/or 'pt.ini' in the installation folder. In this situation,
users on workstations should always open an address book by clicking 'Load From' menu, and should
not use 'Open', because AE is not a C/S application.

After installation, AE only costs about 2M disk space. It is suggested that you network administrator
install AE on every workstations.
