s71v2_3.zip Spreadsheet to Assign Daily Split Shifts to 25 Employees

The Split-25 Excel spreadsheet can be used to assign daily split shifts to up to 25 people for one week and is for the development of complex schedules where each employee can have up to two shifts assigned each day. This series is particularly useful if employees have very limited availability and/or need to have shift start and stop times assigned individually. You, not the computer, assign employees to the various shifts. The program displays your staffing needs for each 15-minute period to help you assign the correct number of employees. It also includes a section that keeps track of labor costs based on individual salary rates and numbers of hours assigned to each person. Two types of charts are included to keep you informed of shift coverage. One is a bar chart showing staffing needs and coverage in 15-minute increments for each day and the other is a line chart showing who is working each 15-minute increment of the day. Since the program allows a shift to start on one day and end on the next day, it can be used for around-the-clock shift coverage. The spreadsheet is shareware that may be distributed and used freely for evaluation with the restriction that the schedule start date needs to be in May 1998 and the individual and group schedule displays are limited. Once you purchase the program, a password will be provided to remove these restrictions. The spreadsheet produces individual and group schedules and comes in sizes for 25, 50 and 75 employees. Other spreadsheets that can schedule up to 3 shifts, schedule up to 10 shifts, create rotating shifts, assign multiple daily tasks, create complex schedules, create doctors call schedules, and create random schedules are available at http://www.shiftschedules.com.

Special Requirements: Microsoft Excel ver 97 or later.
