README.TXT for TooMuchPC version 1.01

PURPOSE:

TooMuchPC allows parents to set limits on their childrens' computer time
and enforces sharing of the computer, eliminating arguments over "hogging" the
computer. For each child, you can limit the total daily computer time, limit
the length of each computer session, and set a bedtime limit beyond which the child
may not use the computer without your permission. You can revoke a child's computer
privilege at any time, and they won't be able to use the computer when you're not
looking - this turns the computer into a very effective disciplinary tool. You can
require a child to ask permission before using the computer. In addition, you can
prevent unauthorized access to your computer by roommates or others.

HOW TO INSTALL:

TooMuchPC.exe is a self-extracting file that automatically runs an installation
program which guides you through the installation process, explains how the program
works and shows you how to use it. A requirement for installing TooMuchPC is that
you must be logged on to Windows with a username. The installation program will
check this, and if necessary explain how to log on with a username. The program files
are installed to a subdirectory named tmpc32_a under the Windows system directory.

PROGRAM STATUS:

TooMuchPC is a Shareware program. It is a fully-functional program that you
may use free of charge for 30 days. After 30 days, a registration fee of $19.95
is required.

DISTRIBUTION STATUS:

You may give a copy of TooMuchPC to anyone you wish, and are strongly encouraged
to do so. You may not charge a few for doing this, and are subject to the licensing
agreement which is displayed by the program installer. After installing TooMuchPC,
you may view the license agreement by selecting the "License" button from the "About
TooMuchPC..." dialog.
