Desktop Tools/QuickNote Features:

- Quick notepad that takes only a small space on the screen
- QuickNote is "sticky" -- it remembers its window location
- QuickNote automatically saves the text when you logout/shutdown
- support up to 8 pages of notes

System Requirements:

Intel 386 or higher, Windows NT 3.51 or later or Windows 95 or later, mouse
(I don't know about Win32s.  It may not work.)

System Limitations:

Windows 95:

Due to limitations in Win95, you can open a text file up to approximately 32K in size.

Windows NT:

File size is limited only to available memory.


Comment:

This is a shareware.  If you like it and use it on a regular basis, please send
me US$5 or CAN$10.  I appreciate your kind contribution.  I am saving up money to get married. 
I will release more utilities of the Desktop Tools(TM) series in the future.  See the end
of this file for how to reach the author.

Installation:

New Installation:
1. Create a directory called QuickNote on the desired drive.
2. Copy qnote.exe and readme.txt to this directory.
3. Copy the DLLs to your system directory.(For Win95, Windows\system.  For Win NT, Winnt35\System32)

Upgrade:
1. Copy qnote.exe and readme.txt to your existing QuickNote directory.
2. When you run QuickNote, your existing note will be stored in page 1.  Page 1 is always the default
page.
3. Reposition QuickNote to your desired location.


Instructions on Use:

1. Create an icon for QuickNote in Program Manager for Windows NT.  For Win 95, add it
to your LOAD= line in win.ini.
2. Place QuickNote window to the desired position.
3. Type in notes/reminder into the edit control.  Use previous page and next page toolbar button
to navigate through pages.  Page number is displayed in the window caption.
