This directory contains the GraphIO DLL, some graphics filters and the
graphics viewer; here are the steps for a quick installation:

1. Add the following lines to your WIN.INI file
        [MS Graphic Import Filters]
        PC Paintbrush(.PCX)=XXXXX\pcxin.flt,PCX
        Microsoft Paint(.MSP)=XXXXX\mspin.flt,MSP
        Bitmaps(.BMP)=XXXXX\bmpin.flt,BMP
        Bitmaps(.DIB)=XXXXX\bmpin.flt,DIB
        Bitmaps(.RLE)=XXXXX\bmpin.flt,RLE
where XXXXX is the directory where you want to place the filters (it
does not have to be in your path).

2. Put the FLT files in the directory that you specified in the above step.

3. Put the files grview.exe and graphio.dll in any directory in your path.

4. Make a new entry in one of the Program Manager's groups for the
GrView program. You can also associate several graphics extensions
with this program from the File Manager.

That's all you need if you just want to use the DLL and the filters.
If you want to call the GraphIO library from your own programs or write
filters, please look at the contents of the other directories.
