WinExp is an easy to use friendly expert system shell for Windows,
which is SIMPLE and perfect for beginners. This is
the shareware version of the shell which is included with the
book "How to Model It", by Starfield et al.

Just some of the features offered by this package:

- Extensive online help.

- A Builder for creating the knowledge bases eliminates the need for
  learning complicated syntax.

- An explanation feature.  This allows you to ask the expert system why it
  reached a certain decision, or why it is asking that particular question.

- A Trail feature which gives you information about how decisions were
  reached (or not).

- Simplicity.

- Example knowledge bases.

This shell has been used by high school kids, graduate students and
professionals.
