Description:
============

World Time Clock will keep track of many different time zones around the world. The clock
bars display as many as 10 different cities around the world. Both digital and analog
clock displays are available. The sound and graphic qualities are outstanding. Users
may also modify times to fit their own time zone. Users may modify settings to place
the bars on top or bottom of the screen.  The clocks has full sound capabilities for
systems with compatible sound boards, which may be set up to 5 different hourly
chime sounds. The clock also has an alarm capability that users can use for reminders.


Requirements:
=============

- Windows 3.x

- VBRUN300.DLL installed in your Windows or System directory (See Below)


Installation:
=============

- Run Install.exe using the RUN option from the file menu of Windows Program Manager or 
double click on the Install.exe icon from the File Manager.

- Follow the directions of the install program.


Installation should have placed the following files in the identified directories:

- wtime.exe in the install directory you specified.

- settings.ini in the same directory as the executable file.

- wtime.txt in the same directory as the executable file.

- time.txt in same directory as the executable file.

- All *.WAV files in the same directory as the executable file.

  Grandfth.wav

  Whistle.wav
  alarm.wav

- All *.VBX and .DLL files in Windows\System directory.

Getting Started:
================

1. Double-click the World Timezone icon to start the program
2. Once the clocks appear, you may double-click anywhere within the clock
   face to view the settings window.
3. Adjust the settings as you desire. If additional help is desired press
   the help button



Distribution:
=============

- World Time Clock is distributed as Shareware. The Author maintains all rights to the
program in its entirety. 

- World Time Clock may be distributed freely as long as the integrity of
Shareware is maintained.

- In the tradition of Shareware, the author grants a 30 day trial period to the user to
decide whether they want to keep the program. If so, a $15 donation is required. If not,
then before the 30 days is up, you must delete the program from your system.

Compuserve Customers:
Save a stamp! You can register this program on-line if desired.
The cost of this program will be added to your Compuserve account.
Here's how:

1. Use the GO 'swreg' command
2. Select 'Register Shareware' option
3. Select the geographic region you reside in
4. This is a search area. select the appropriate fields which will help identify this application. once done choose 'Begin Search' then 'Display Selection'
5. The number of matching titles found will be displayed. Select the appropriate title and the the 'Select' button
6. Select the 'Description' button
7. Select the 'Register' button
8. Fill out the appropriate information and your done

That's it!  You have now registered this software. Your next Compuserve
bill will show that you have registered this software. The author will
send you a registered copy of this application or send you a
registration number to enter into the program which will activate the
registered features.

- Moved the Alarm icon to the ABOUT window to display whenever the alarm is set.

- Added an ability to set the screen background to all-black to highlight clock
display.



V2.1

- Changed the System Time Zone feature. People outside of the continental United
States can now select their timezone with a single click rather than manually
entering in their time difference to Los Angeles. It's now fully Automatic!

- Added the ability to change the names of cities for the clocks. Previous
versions had a fixed city name for each clock. Now you can select from a list
of city names or manually enter your own city name for each timezone.

- Changes Register information.
