Description:

Las Vegas Slots is an extremely realistic slot machine simulation. It is a very
graphically interactive program with outstanding sound effects.  Each spin allows
as much as 8 chances of winning and bets between $1 thru $8. The application
will keep track of your winnings or losses and keep a running tally of your
attempts. The jackpot will dynamically increases for each non-jackpot winning spin
by $0.10 to $0.17. Games in progress may be saved for later play.   


Requirements:

- Windows 3.x

- VBRUN300.DLL installed in your Windows or System directory. This file may already be
in your system. Many other programs require this file. You may have received it already
without knowing so. Otherwise, this file can be found almost anywhere where Windows
software is available for downloading. Usually titled: VBRUN300.ZIP.


Installation:

- Run Install.exe using the RUN option from the file menu of Windows Program Manager or 
double click on the Install.exe icon from the File Manager.

- Follow the directions of the install program.


Installation should have placed the following files in the identified directories:

- lv_slots.exe in the install directory you specified.

- lv_slots.txt in the same directory as the executable file.

- These files in the same directory as the executable file.

  Cmdialog.vbx
  commdlg.dll

- These files in Windows\System directory.
  3dlabel.vbx

Distribution:

- Las Vegas Slots is distributed as Shareware. The Author maintains all rights to the
program in its entirety. 

- Las Vegas Slots may be distributed freely as long as the integrity of Shareware is
maintained.

- In the tradition of Shareware, the author grants a 30 day trial period to the user to
decide whether they want to keep the program. If so, a $12 donation is required. If not,
then before the 30 days is up, you must delete the program from your system. Previous
registered users may use this version free of charge.

Compuserve Customers:
Save a stamp! You can register this program on-line if desired.
The cost of this program will be added to your Compuserve account.
Here's how:

1. Use the GO 'swreg' command
2. Select 'Register Shareware' option
3. Select the geographic region you reside in
4. This is a search area. select the appropriate fields which will help identify this application. once done choose 'Begin Search' then 'Display Selection'
5. The number of matching titles found will be displayed. Select the appropriate title and the the 'Select' button
6. Select the 'Description' button
7. Select the 'Register' button
8. Fill out the appropriate information and your done

That's it!  You have now registered this software. Your next Compuserve
bill will show that you have registered this software. The author will
send you a registered copy of this application or send you a
registration number to enter into the program which will activate the
registered features.


Important Notice:

Because of the file structure of Las Vegas Slots, users should take caution when changing
and copying the files to a new directory from the original installation directory. Some 
files are created using the original directory. Validated users may lose their validation 
information. Validated users should write down their validation number in case they
change directories.
