                   The DeAdZoNe Utilities for RemoteAccess
                   =======================================

What are they?
--------------
The DeAdZoNe utilities are a collection of *FREE* utilities for use with
RemoteAccess. Below is a brief description of the utilities which are
available as of this writing. Be sure to look for them on your favourite BBS,
or you can obtain them directly from the system listed below by file request.

Brief Descriptions
------------------

D-StAt
======
   * Top User Statistics Generator. Provides complete system and user
       information in one easy to use program. Including:
   * Top Callers, Top (message) Posters, Top Downloaders(in kilobytes and
       files), Top Uploaders (in kilobytes and files), as well as totals and
       Averages.
   * Will use either Handles or Real names.
   * InfoBar shows you the Total System Calls, Total Downloads,
       Uploads etc., as well as Averages (e.g. Average time used per day etc.)
   * Can be configured to exclude certain users from the statistics.
   * Colour of bulletins can be changed if desired (even a 3-d shadow effect
       is available).

D-SoRt
======
   * Automatically sorts your FILES.BBS in alphabetical order.
   *   VERY FAST!
   * D-SoRt can be configured to skip certain file areas from being sorted.
   * If you have header lines (which provide the user with information about
       the file area etc.) at the top or anywhere else in your FILES.BBS D-SoRt
       will preserve them intact.(Please read the section labelled "Header
       lines" below.)
   * D-SoRt will preserve `blocks' of text and only sort within those blocks
       (for example, if you have FILES.BBS broken down into sections, D-SoRt
       will preserve those sections).

D-DooR
======
   * Top Door Statistics. Will generate "Top Door" bulletins (i.e. which
       doors are being used and how much), as well as "Top Door User" bulletins
       (i.e. which *users* are accessing the doors).
   * Provides a nice looking graphs for easy comparison.
   * Will detect if a door is entered more than once in sequence by the same
       user, and will not count it. (This option can be temporarily disabled
       if desired.)
   * Supports Handles and Real Names.
   * Can be configured to exclude certain users from the statistics.
   *   Fully multi-node compatible.
   * Colour of bulletins can be changed if desired (even a 3-d shadow effect
       is available).
   * Shows how many days the statistics cover (e.g. last 50 days).

D-CaLL
======
   * A easy to use door which replaces RA's built-in "Today's Callers List"
   * Masks local logons so that "0" baud calls show up as"ordinary" calls.
       That way nobody can tell if somebody is logging on locally to your
       BBS...
   * Supports Handles and Real Names.
   * Optionally excludes/includes the Sysop from the list
   * First time callers show up as "NEW USER".
   * Can be configured to exclude certain users from the statistics.
   * Runs as a door and sets up in minutes!
   *   DESQview aware.

NeXt
====
   * NeXt is a utility which allows you to toggle the status of the "sysop
       next" flag even though the user is outside of the BBS (i.e. he/she is
       running a door or some other external program).
   * Works with or *without* a multitasker.

D-User
======
   *   Replaces RA's built-in "User List"
   * Supports Handles and Real Names
   * Automatically excludes any users with security level zero (locked but)
       and any users who have the "Hidden" bit set.
   * Optionally includes the Sysop's name in the header
   * Can be configured to exclude certain users from the statistics.

   Note: All The DeAdZoNe Utilities, with the exception of D-User, are written
         by Victor Magdic. D-User is written by James FitzGibbon.
