                      D'Bridge EMAIL System
                      Single Line Beta 154 /14 June 1993
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Installing D'Bridge from the release ZIP file is quick and easy.

First , make sure that you have a copy of both PKZIP.EXE and PKUNZIP.EXE in
the DOS PATH. Version 2.04g or later is REQUIRED!

PKZIP is a compression/decompression system available from:

                        PKWARE, Inc.
                        7545 N. Port Washington Rd.
                        Glendale, WI 53217

This program is available as a ShareWare product and available for file-
request from most if not all of the dealers in the DBNET nodelist & from my
BBS or MSI HQ where you got this file from. And it is REQUIRED for D'BRIDGE
operation.

Next unzip the release file, DB-154.ZIP into a subdirectory of your choice.
Assuming that the ZIP file is on a floppy in Drive B: type the following DOS
commands:

                         ie.

                        C:\>MD DB
                        C:\>CD DB
                        C:\>PKUNZIP B:DB-154

At this point, you should have three files in the C:\DB directory that came
from the release ZIP file:

                        DB-154.EXE
                        DB-154.DOC
                        READ.ME

To install or upgrade D'Bridge, simply type the command DB-154 in the \DB
directory:
                        C:\DB\DB-154

The Installation program will walk you thru the installation process.
Once the installation is complete, the file DB-154.exe will be erased.

                         WILDNODE v1.51
                       Nodelist Compiler

Wildnode is used to process a fidonet compatible St. Louis style
raw nodelist and create the necessary database files so Wildcat!
v3+ can properly make use of the NetMail features. Wildnode! does
this by making use of a special control file to define pricing, nodelist(s)
to process and zone usage information.

This file can be obtained from:

                         Online Computer Resources
                         2036 Columbus Parkway #450
                         Benicia, CA 94510
                    Voice: (707)552-1122 BBS: (707)552-0602

Installation:

Setup and configuration of WILDNODE! is relatively simple and
straight forward. Outlined below is the recommended procedure when
initially installing WILDNODE!

         1) Using PKNZIP, uncompress the WNODE151.ZIP into a temporary
            directory.

         2) Copy WILDNODE.EXE into the WC30\DATA directory, that is also
where your WILDNODE.CFG File should be placed as well. This
is where you will compile the nodelist once after you compile
            it in D'Bridge.

         3) After you have compiled the nodelist in D'Bridge you will copy
the nodelist as is to the C:\WC30\DATA dir and execute WILDNODE
by entering the command WILDNODE.EXE then you will see the
raw nodelist being compiled...That's it for that!

X.00 A Low Level Serial I/O Communications Driver
                              Fossil Driver
                               X00150.ZIP
for MS-DOS and like Operating Systems.

D'Bridge comes with X00.EXE but I prefer X00.SYS cause it works best with
QEMM v7.3 and doesn't HOG up MEMory like X00.EXE

Quick Start:

Unzip X00150.ZIP into a temp directory, Copy X00.EXE to the root directory
of you Boot drive or Diskette

If you are going to use standard comm ports, either COM1 or COM2
on a PC or AT, or COM1 thru COM8 on a PS/2, then add the following
line to your CONFIG.SYS File:

            DEVICE=X00.SYS E

If you wish to have more than one COMM port active simultaneously, then
modify the command line to include the number of simultaneously active
ports you wish to support. For example, if you are using DESQview and
you wish to run a BBS in twp different windows, then add the following
to your CONFIG.SYS file:

            DEVICE=X00.SYS E 2

It should be noted that the above command tells X00 how many ports that
are to be used simultaneously, not which ports. The application program
may use ANY 2 serial ports in any order.

If your setup is more complex, you must refer to the X00.DOC for more info.

This File can be obtained from:

                          Raymond L. Gwinn

                          WoodBridge, Virginia 22192
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The NODELIST.* you can obtain from any NC for Fido in your area as well
as the FIDONET.NA File....Follow the intsructions here abd you should have
D'Bridge up and running by Dinner!!! (of the same day of course)...
