---------------------------------------------------------------------------
2 lb. hamburger (lean)
1 medium to large onion
1 7oz. can chopped green chillies-hot
8oz. salsa or picante sauce-hot
1 large can refried beans(31-32oz.)
1 package Mexican Velveta Cheese-hot

Brown hamburger and copped onion. Add garlic powder and cumin seed to taste,
if wanted.
Drain. In crockpot (while hamburger is browning) melt one package Velveeta
Mexican cheese. Add one 7oz. can green chiles and 8oz. salsa. When these
are melted and mixed together well, add 31oz. can of refried beans. (Casa
Fiesta brand is my favorite), and mix. Then add the drained hamburger to
the mixture for 2-3 hours.
Can be used as a dip or filling for tortillas.

I got this recipe from another BBS. I have no idea what temperature to
melt the cheese at I would say high, and then maybe keep it on high
for awhile and then switch to low and complete the 2--3 hours.

Sorry,but sometimes this happens.
