CLEAN OUT YOUR CABINETS GOOP CHILI

This recipe was developed one day when I was extremely
bored. Needed to get rid of a cabinet full of almost empty
spice bottles. This is spicy and wonderful. Don't get
discouraged due to the amount of ingredients. Believe me it
is worth it. This makes a large deep pot full. It freezes
well and is a good sauce to keep in a large bottle in the
refrigerator for unexpected guests or for snacks. If it
sounded good..I used it! No, I'm not crazy, this stuff is
GOOD!!

3 lb. ground beef 1 lb. Jimmy Dean Sausage
1 lg. chopped onion 1 large red onion, chopped
3 cloves minced garlic 1 bell pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped 1/2 tsp. crushed red
1/2 t. cumin pepper
1/2 tsp. coriander 1 tsp. cilantro
2 tsp. basil 1/2 tsp. marjoram
2 bay leaves 1 tsp. Hungarian Paprika
1 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 tsp. liquid smoke
1/3 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. Lawry's Hot 8 banana peppers, sliced
& Spicy seasoned salt 1/4 c. banana pepper juice
2 tsp. New Mexico Chile Powder 1 tsp. black pepper
7 oz. can Ortega diced green 2 1/4 oz. can sliced black
  chilies olives
2 14 1/2 oz. cans Mexican Style 2 15 oz. cans Progresso
stewed tomatoes, w/juice black beans, drained
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix 1 pkg. fajita seasoning
30 oz. can Rosarita refried 2 1/2 lb. can Riviera
   beans Western BBQ beans
1 box Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix

In a large deep pot, brown ground beef, sausage, onions,
garlic, and bell peppers. Add rest of ingredients, stirring
to blend frequently. After all ingredients are added,
simmer about 10 minutes. Remove bay leaves and serve as
desired. Use this mixture over eggs, for a dip, with
nachos, as a salad. Just serve it warmed, not hot. OR just
eat as chili with chips or cornbread. Great as a stuffing
for baked potatoes topped with the usual goodies. Goes over
well at parties. SAUCE THICKENS AS IT COOLS.

Note: If you can't find the exact ingredients as listed,
choose another brand of "like" product. I serve this as a
salad in a fried tortilla bowl by filling 1/2 way with chili
and topping chili with grated Sharp Cheddar cheese, lettuce,
chopped tomatoes, chopped red onion, Old El Paso Thick &
Chunky Salsa and sour cream. If the chili is just warmed,
you can mix it all together in the tortilla bowl. YUMMY!!!
If you want ANYTHING Mexican, use this with it. Makes
wonderful quesadillas using softened cracker breads and
sharp cheddar cheese, topped with your favorite condiments.
