Many of you remember Shutterbug of Light Impressions and Zone VII. Sadly,
I must inform you that he passed away. Larry was very active in the short
time he was a sysop. His passing is a shock and means a great loss to those
 who knew him.

Larry did live a very active life. Though his time as a sysop was short
his contributions were many. Hope to remember a few stories to put here.
Anyone with a story about Larry please pass it on to us.

Oh No, you're never "hooked". I like to think of my modeming more as
an "exercise in intrapersonal communications via an electronic medium
wherein normal social controls are in the hands of a third party i.e.
the moderator."...... Okay, hooked is shorter.:)

    > Too late... makes me wonder... I guess I do have a problem. I did
    > not do my Bluewave for 2 days and I have been a real pain.

Yeah that *is* a problem. All ya have to do though is get a few steady
boards and sort of specialize them, you know, one for games, one for
messages, one for files, ect.. *Then* if the message board is down for
a while you can get enough messages to get you through to your next
   fix, er, packet.:)

                   PAC-BELL + INTERNET = ONLINE VOTER GUIDE

Pacific Bell and the California Voter Foundation, former Secretary of
State March Fong Eu's nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, will offer
the Online Voter Guide via the Internet. In what executive director
Kim Alexander described as a "win-win situation for all involved", the
guide will "provide statewide candidates an extraordinary opportunity
to get their campaign messages out to thousands of voters at no cost."
An estimated 1 million residents of California have access to Internet
with computers at home, school and work, and the public libraries have
been adding access to the system.

Alexander said Internet users may access the guide by using the gopher
tool and typing gopher.kn.pacbell.com. The first information offered
contains data about candidates for governor, the U.S. Senate and state
    school superintendent.

After a 12% increase in Apple stock based on the Motorola stories, the
