What's that beeping? ... It's a page to the SysOp. Something must be
  wrong!

Hello... I came as fast as
                    I could... What's wrong?

                   ۱SysopUser
                   Oh hi. Nothing's wrong,
I just wanted to chat with
                    someone.

This is probably one of the most annoying things that a SysOp has
to put up with. People paging the SysOp, a command used when the user
has found a problem with the board, or when the user needs information.
It is used by some people to call the SysOp to a chat!
    "Hello SysOp! What's up?"
"Nothing. Is there a problem, User?"
    "Well, no."
    "Then why did you page??"
PRIORITY PAGE eliminates this problem by giving the user a choice,
is his/her page an emergency or not. When the user selects "A" for just
a normal page, there is no emergency, then PRIORITY PAGE pages the SysOp,
but with no noise. Flashing colours are put on the screen to attract
the SysOp's attention, but that's all. No more annoying beeps for no
reason. If the user selects Emergency, however, the system beeps, and
the user better have a good reason!

Because of security, Wildcat! has not allowed the trapping of the
console function keys, therefore the fact that the SysOp has pulled the
user into chat in unknown to PRIORITY PAGE. So after the page, when
it says "Press [Enter] to return to bbs" PRIORITY PAGE keeps going!
If the SysOp pressed F6 when the page was at ...5, after the chat,
it will continue to go up, ...6...7...8 until it reaches 10, then it
says, Sorry the SysOp is not available. This is confusing for the user.
So, before hitting F6 to enter chat, press SPACE or any other key
(except for the Function keys) and then F6, and that will stop
PRIORITY PAGE so that when chat is over it just returns to the menu.

So, I hope you find this useful, and if you have any comments
