This is revision 1 of a pentium test program. It simply performs
several floating point operations that are known to cause errors
in the current stepping of Intel Pentium(tm) processors. I wrote
this to make a simple way for the average computer customer to
test the system he or she is going to purchase to see if it
contains the "fixed" pentium chip. If your computer has a PCI
bus, using a genuine Intel PCI chipset, this program will detect the
chipset and revision number, and give you a little history on any
problems that might exist with this revision. Again, this program
is intended to provide a customer with information about a system
before he or she put down their hard earned money.

This program is supplied without any warranty, either expressed or
implied. The user must take responsibility for any consequences of
use. The information reported by the program is believed to be accurate,
but the author makes no such guarantee.
