WHAT KIND OF SOIL ARE YOU ????
(Parable of the Sower as told by the Lord Jesus)

                  MATTHEW 13
3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying,
    Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
4 And when he sowed, some [seeds] fell by the way side,
and the fowls came and devoured them up:
5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much
earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no
    deepness of earth:
6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because
they had no root, they withered away.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up,
    and choked them:
8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth
fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

What kind of soil is your heart toward God and His Word?
       1) Way side soil?
       2) Stony soil?
       3) Thorny soil?
       4) Good soil?

The following is a breakdown of the meaning of the four types
  of soil:

    Matthew 13
18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

                  WAY SIDE SOIL
19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and
understandeth [it] not, then cometh the wicked [one], and
catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he
which received seed by the way side.

                  STONY SOIL
20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the
same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy
    receiveth it;
21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a
while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because
of the word, by and by he is offended.

                   THORNY SOIL
22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that
heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the
deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh
    unfruitful.
                   GOOD SOIL
23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he
that heareth the word, and understandeth [it]; which also
beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some
    sixty, some thirty.

As you read this your heart is one of the above kinds of soil.
The good news is that YOU make the choice. Are you the good
soil that responds to the Word of God? Or, rather have you
hardened your heart to the point that the precious seed of
God's Word falls by the way side every time you hear it?

What will you do with the Lord Jesus Christ? Will you accept
Him? Will you reject Him? Or will you simply neglect Him and
put Him far from your mind? Do the cares of this world keep
   you away from the Saviour?

WHY NOT ACCEPT THE LORD JESUS TODAY! SOON IT WILL BE TOO LATE!

    John 1
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and
    the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to
become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his
    name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the
flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

    John 3
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
    perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the
world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that
believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not
believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into
the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because
    their deeds were evil.

    John 3
36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and
he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the
wrath of God abideth on him.
