                RETRIBUTION

PART 23 BY THE CHOIR BOYZ TEAM..........................

She lay in ambush for a Lez-Mot. The multitude of creatures
were in a feeding frenzy, but Black Widow remained motionless.
She had to ration her equipment and ammunition. The Lez-Mot
came into sight, and Black Widow maneuvered to his blind side.
She attacked quickly, but the Lez-Mot suffered very little
damage. Black Widow was in for a lengthy and costly battle.
After the final blow was struck, she reached into her back
pack and used the gift from Lynx. Black Widow retrieved the
floppy disk from the ground and hastened back to the Missile
Silo.

Bankshot was getting tired and bored with his Frontier Log
assignment. It had been hours and there was no news from the
Wastelands. The panel lights suddenly lit up, and the data
flowed at light speed. Hawk's base on level 4 was now nuclear
dust.

Crazyshack and Fish toasted each other in Barl's Bar.
Smith&Jones, along with Cheetah relieved the two from their
posts. Smith&Jones, now fully sober, had been banned from the
bar. It did not appear that he would have to take part in
phase three of the plan, thus the guard duty. Taraclese and
Trax were sending transmission after transmission to Dire-
Wolf, asking what he had discovered to stay alive this time.
He replied he had built up an immunity to death. Buster made
a promise to himself that once this was all over, he would
wage another attack.........in the recruit chambers with a
bucket and water.

Osprey had the honor of hammering the final nail in the
coffin. The base on level 5 had been armed with a spore
sprayer. Each time Osprey used the duroplast, his
immunizations were attacked. The contents of Hawk's base no
longer seemed important, and Osprey decided to emulate Black
Widow. He ambushed a Lez-Mot. Leaving nothing to chance,
Osprey placed a thumper on the base, just in case, and headed
for a Missile Silo at the east end of the Wastelands. One
never knew what would develop in this terrain, and if someone
was fool enough to resurrect Hawk, Nukem would take care of
him if anything went wrong. Osprey never did trust these
nukes.

In a short period of time, Osprey had hacked the code. The
missile was ready to be launched to it's intended target.
Osprey smiled and set the launch sequence into motion. Osprey
died instantly. Phase three had claimed the life of the
"Shadow Casters" leader. And the base on level five was still
intact.
