* All requests to communicate with the Administrative Pastors are to
go through John Scudder. All such inquiries will be reviewed on a
  case by case basis.

REGIONAL HUB - A regional hub is a BBS that obtains its net mail directly
from The Shepherd's Flock Family BBS. Regional hubs are established in
regional areas around in the U.S. and distribute mail to Hubs and Nodes.

HUBS - A hub is a BBS that obtains its net mail from regional hubs and
distributes mail to nodes. Hubs will always be hubs, and can only become
a regional hub under approval from The Shepherd's Flock Family BBS.

NODES - A node is a BBS that obtains its net mail from Hubs and distributes
its mail to its users. Nodes can become Hubs, if they have approval from
the Regional hub that is in their area. All New Requests for APPLICATION
APPROVAL are to be routed to the Network Administrator (John Scudder)
before FINAL approval.

II. Policies and Procedures:
    -----------------------

For Communication Policies regarding ALL users on CalvaryNet,
please refer to the CCPOLICY.TXT file "CalvaryNet Guidelines".

APPLICATIONS FOR CALVARYNET RELAY:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

All applications must be routed to the Network Administrator before
final approval is given to any HUB or NODE. The Network Administrator
has the right to disapprove any Application for CalvaryNet. Any
individuals whose application is disapproved may personally inquire as
to the reasons for such via a written request through the U.S. Postal
Service. When a user requests information regarding their disapproval,
the SYSOP running that particular BBS will provide that user with this
address:

John Scudder
822 Masters Drive
Oceanside, CA. 92057-6233.

The Network message base will not be used to discuss application
disapproval for any individual. Such will be done privately and
confidentially with the involved parties.

NETWORK and CONFERENCE USAGE:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

CalvaryNet is structured to allow all Christians an avenue for
Fellowship and Information Exchange. However, the Focus for
CalvaryNet is Calvary Chapel and Affiliate Church fellowship.

Please follow these guidelines when operating a Calvary Chapel
Computer Ministry: CalvaryNet on your BBS or in your communications
regarding this network:

1. Advertisements for CalvaryNet are authorized on Christian
oriented services only. Exceptions are the Compuserve and
America On-Line Calvary Chapel specific areas. At this time,
please do not advertise CalvaryNet on the Internet. Exceptions
to Internet use are in regards to the PRIVATE communications
via private address specific to Calvary Chapel and affiliate
use or initiation of a BBS though QWK means. FIDO will not
be explored at this time with regards to CalvaryNet. Future
FIDO capability will be discussed in the 4HisGlory Conference.

2. CalvaryNet is open to THE COMMUNITY {all} for fellowship and
information exchange. It is mandatory that all individuals
that will have an avenue to CalvaryNet on your respective
BBS's be presented with the CalvaryNet Guidelines prior
to their access. We want them to know of our strict
"brother to brother" relations BEFORE they engage in
fellowship on CalvaryNet. An information posting of
CCPOLICY.TXT during their initial access to CalvaryNet will
suffice (or other means that you devise in order to get
this important information to them before their access to
   CalvaryNet is granted).

3. Only Calvary Chapel or Affiliate Churches BBS SYSOPS will are
authorized to relay CalvaryNet with the following EXCEPTIONS:

The Kandy Shack BBS in Garden Grove California
The Fire Escape BBS in Greenville Virginia

CONFERENCE SPECIFIC GUIDELINES
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-

1. Address all Network problems in the CC-ADMIN Conference. Please
do not discuss Network Administrative Business in any other
   CalvaryNet Conferneces.

2. It is required that ALL HUBS and NODES Carry ALL CalvaryNet
   Conferences with the following exceptions:

CC-PASTOR {This conference will be relayed only by those BBS's
that have and active Calvary Chapel or Affiliate Pastor
              on CalvaryNet}

3. All HUBS or NODES wishing to no longer relay CalvaryNet should
give at least 2 weeks notice to your HUBS or NODES respectfully
as well as alerting the Network Administrator at such time.

4. All HUBS must relay at least 3 times a week unless pre-approved
by the Network Administrator in advance.

5. ALL NODES must relay at least twice weekly unless previously
approved for otherwise by the Network Administrator.

6. Real Names are required of the users on CalvaryNet. If your
BBS allows "Handles" or other such alterations from actual
user names, you will have to devise a way so that their real
name is used when accessing a Calvary Chapel Conference.

7. It is the responsibility of each Relaying HUB or NODE to
"police" their own BBS for inappropriate conduct on CalvaryNet.
Please make the CCPOLICY.TXT file "CalvaryNet Guidelines"
readily available to all your users before then are given
    access to CalvaryNet.

A. RESPONSIBILITIES OF REGIONAL HUBS, HUBS, AND NODES
   --------------------------------------------------

All Calvary Chapel BBS SYSOPS interacting with The Shepherd's FLock
and other Calvary Chapel Computer Ministry BBS's carrying CalvaryNet
are responsible for the following:

   1. Reading and responding to relevant messages in the CC-ADMIN
      conference on a regular basis.

   2. Maintaining the integrity of the CALVARYNET by not allowing users
to abuse the nature of this net. The CalvaryNet will not tolerate
PROFANITY, ABUSIVE LANGUAGE, PERSONAL ATTACKS, OR BASHING. BBS
SYSOP's are expected to monitor there users and will take action
against the user who violates this policy when requested (i.e.
remove from BBS, not allow access to CALVARYNET conferences, etc.).

   3. Distribution of CalvaryNet conferences to other BBS's is prohibited
unless approved by the Network Administrator:

Hubs are the only BBS's that are allowed to distribute CalvaryNet
conferences. Also, they are responsible for forwarding all CalvaryNet
applications (in the CC-ADMIN Conference) to The Shepherd's Flock BBS.

NETWORK TAGLINES:
-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-

All TAGLINES will be required to be in the following format:

  a. Export Taglines

B. RULES THAT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PRESENT TO YOUR CALLERS
   ------------------------------------------------------

   {REFER TO CCPOLICY.TXT: CalvaryNet Guidelines}

C. How to Interact on CALVARYNET as a Calvary Chapel Sysop
   --------------------------------------------------------

CalvaryNet is a growing new Calvary Chapel Computer Ministry
Network, and is very "in tune' the the Calvary Chapel "needs".
It is the desire of the Network Administrator that Calvary
Sysops be as involved as possible in many decision making
processes.. such as what new conferences are to be added, as
well as giving input as to other thoughts and ideas.

Currently, CalvaryNet has a few conferences that are specific
to Calvary Chapel and affiliate church PASTORS and/or SYSOPS.

 1. 4HisGlory is a restricted conference for Pastor and
CC Sysop interaction regarding the "structure" and
"focus" of CalvaryNet. Discussion, Prayer, and
contemplation take place here to direct CavlaryNet
for His Glory and His Service regarding the fellowship
    and information exchange on CalvaryNet.

 2. CC-PASTOR is highly restricted. Only Calvary Chapel
Pastors active on CalvaryNet will have access to this
conference. This is a "meeting place" for CC Pastors,
apart from the general network mail traffic. Only
CC BBS's with active CC Pastors on CalvaryNet will
    have Relay Access.

 3. CC-SUPPORT is a conference where the CC Pastors on CalvaryNet
can minister to the Body of Christ at Calvary Chapel. The
specifics of this conference are not complete yet, so check
CC-ADMIN for updates regarding this conference's specifics.

 4. Special Mail Boxes. Pastors and Sysops relaying from the CalvaryNet
HOST BBS (The Shepherd's Flock Family BBS) will be able to have
private mail boxes for their communications with the Network
Administrator. If you are a Pastor Relaying CalvaryNet on
The Shepherd's Flock BBS, your mail box is called by your full
name (First Name; Last Name) and can be accessed by entering
JOIN JOHN BROWN at the Menu Prompt (The name John Brown was an
    example).

When you request to relay CalvaryNet, you will be asked if you
read the CCPOLICY.TXT and this SYSOP.TXT file.

MOST OF ALL.. May God's light shine upon you, and may you find great
rest in the hope and promises of Jesus Christ. AMEN.. COME LORD JESUS!

With love..
