     Registration Information

     We currently offer four methods of registering LightChat:-

     1)  You can pay in UK funds by sending a UK cheque, cash (in UK
         sterling), EuroCheque, UK postal order, or International Money
         Order. See ORDER.FRM for more details.

     2)  You can pay in US funds by sending a US check or money order.
         See ORDER.USA for more details.

     3)  You can pay in German DM by sending cash (DM only), EuroCheque,
         an International Money Order, or by using money transfer.  See
         ORDER.GER for more details.

     4)  You can register via your CompuServe account on the CIS Shareware
         Registration Forum (GO SWREG).  LightChat's Shareware
         Registration Database ID on this forum is 4832.  This is a very
         quick and convenient way of registering LightChat (your key
         should be waiting for you within a day or two).


     By registering LightChat, you are agreeing to the terms and
     conditions set out at the end of this document - please make sure
     you read them.

     Four application forms are provided for your use:

     ORDER.FRM - UK and international orders in UK funds.
     ORDER.USA - US and international orders in US funds.
     ORDER.GER - German and international orders in German funds.
     ORDER.CIS - CompuServe orders.

     Terms and Conditions of Registration

     "Lightning Software" consists of David McGarry and Marcel Cook.

     "LightChat" refers to the package consisting of the LightChat
     programs and documentation, as originally released by Lightning
     Software.

     I understand that, by registering, I am given a license to use the
     registered version of LightChat, subject to the following
     conditions:-

     *  I am not to pass on my registered version of LightChat or my
        registration key to anyone else. Failure to comply with this
        condition may result in legal action being taken against me.

     *  My registration of LightChat only provides me with a license to
        use it. It does not provide me with any copyright or ownership of
        LightChat.

     *  Lightning Software and/or LightChat's author(s) are under no
        obligation whatsoever to provide me with future versions of, or
        support for LightChat.

     *  LightChat is used completely at my own risk, and under no
        circumstances shall Lightning Software and/or the software's
        author(s) be held responsible for any damages or financial loss
        of any form, directly or indirectly caused by LightChat.

     *  I understand and agree to the conditions of this agreement.
