Description: This tile set consists of 36 tiles. All match themselves.
I hope this will help youngsters with their early reading as well as
their matching skills. I seek your opinion about how well I have
done in achieving my goal.

Please notice: in my earlier tile sets I did not have enough experience
to round all the corners as you will find upon examination of my later
sets. I did this quite deliberately to make separation between tiles
clearer. It has helped me a lot. In all of my early sets there were two
colors for the side and bottom of the tiles, usually a lighter color
on the left side and its darker mate on the bottom. With Nels's new
Tilemaker or Mah Jongg game, I do not know which, there has been some
independent computer thinking and many of the tile sides have been con-
verted to single color: charcoal (my own name for the dark gray).

This has caused a great deal of work on my part to recolor those tiles,
some of which have been included on this disk. Earlier, I had not noticed
the widespread auto editing that had been done and felt quite bad when
I discovered it. Almost all of the sets on this disk that have dual
color side and bottom were changed. I have not had time to do all the
rest. When you get a chance to compare, I would be glad for your
comments on the difference.

Feel free to give this to anyone who wants a copy. I leave all my
works in the public domain, though on some I have labored long and
hard. All my work with this tile building set , TILEMAKR, has been
gratifying. I have two OTHER mahjongg sets but with one I can
construct only board variations and with the other, nothing.

I would like to hear from others who are interested in tile
construction. Maybe we have some things to share with each other.

If you have other sets that I made and they don't load or work right
let me know and I will send you a good copy. My hard disk was being
sneaky about the way it was saving some of my stuff for quite a
while before I discovered it.

If you are disappointed with the sixteen color pallette of the IBM,
I have a couple hundred different color tiles made by combining
colors in varying proportions. If you are interested send me a
couple of1.2 meg floppies and $10 and your name and address and
I'll send you all of the tile sets I have made mixing the colors.
They will be archived as LZH files so I include LHA.EXE for your
convenience. If you do not need it say so and I wont include it.

                       Thank you Nels Anderson
