1.0 INTRODUCTION
----------------

1.1  What is Reader Doubler?
----------------------
  Reader Doubler helps you read documents quicker and easier.  Valuable time is not
wasted by moving your eyes back and forth across the screen as you are doing now.  
Reader Doubler allows you to keep your eyes fixed on one location as the text comes
to you.  Many weeks of testing went into the design of Reader Doubler and results
showed a significant drop in the time it takes to read a document. 


1.2  What's in version 1.00 (Unregistered)?

 The Unregistered version includes: 
 readme.txt     - this file
 register.txt   - registration form
 reader.exe     - Reader Doubler executable
 
 Visual Basic files necessary for windows version, must be in your 
   path or current directory:
				Spin.vbx     - Included 
				Threed.vbx   - Included 
				Cmdialog.vbx - Included
				Vbrun300.dll - Freely available

2.0 RUNNING READER DOUBLER
--------------------------
 
2.1  How to run Reader Doubler
------------------------------
 After extracting all the files neccessary, just run READER.EXE.  The Visual Basic
files listed in section 1.2 need to be somewhere in your PATH statement, such as
your Windows\System directory.  

2.2 How to use Reader Doubler
-----------------------------
  Reader Doubler is not complex.  Just select the document you wish to read and 
select the desired starting location.  You can control the speed of the text and
also the size of the reading viewport.  
  Use the play, pause, and stop buttons at the top to open a document, pause during
reading, or to stop reading.  The left and right mouse buttons can be used to control
the speed of reading.

3.0   PROBLEMS

3.1  Liability
--------------

  There has never been any problems, but just in case, I assume no
responsibility for any data, or any form of software or hardware that 
is damaged possibly from this program. 

3.2 Specific Known Problems
---------------------------

  If you discover a bug, please report it either to my internet address or my
mailing address listed in Section 4.2. It would greatly be appreciated. Also,
if you have any suggestions, give them to me, or if you have any
ideas or features you would like to see added to Reader Doubler contact me.

3.3 For Best Results, Tips
--------------------------
  Open any document and start reading.  Then adjust the reading viewport size to a 
comfortable setting.  Adjust the speed of the text to the desired setting and you
should be set.

I am currently a 6'0 senior at San Jose State University studying computer
science and mathematics.  I enjoy programming, photography, juggling, video games,
and am a sports fanatic. I play basketball, roller hockey and other recreational
activities when I am not trying to get a computer screen tan.
