  About Draggin' Viewer
  ---------------------

Welcome to Draggin' Viewer (DV), Shareware Version 3.00S! Draggin' Viewer
is a drag & drop file viewer/program launcher utility for Microsoft
Windows, Version 3.1. (Sorry, this application will not work with Windows
3.0 or earlier or Windows 95.)

DV appears as an icon on the Desktop. Select one or file names in the
Windows File Manager, or other drag & drop server. Drag the names to the
Draggin' Viewer icon, and the files will be opened for viewing or editing
in their originating applications, or any program "associated" with
their filename extension in Windows. If there is no associated
application, the file will be opened in Windows Notepad or Write, depend-
  ing on its size.

This version of DV adds the capability to look at graphics image files with the
following formats: BMP, DIB, GIF, ICO, JIF, JPG, PCX, PNG, RLE, TGA, TIF, WMF,
and WPG. Internet users may recognize the JPG and GIF extensions as those used
by Internet publishers, and recognized by all modern browsers as inline images.
The cache directory of your browser is full of these files, and you can examine
them by dropping them onto DV. With all these popular graphics formats supported,
Draggin' Viewer gives extraordinary abilities to manage your image files!

The previous revision of Draggin' Viewer added the ability to compare file version
information for Windows system files: files with extensions .DLL, .DRV, .CPL,
et cetera, that previous versions of DV just warned you about. The ability to view
the hidden data in these files is complemented by the ability to move the files
to your Windows System directory, or delete them if they are duplicated elsewhere.
(Often these files are installed in several places on your system, chewing up disk
space.) The Windows for Workgroups File Manager lets you look at this information
one file, one directory at a time; Draggin' Viewer allows you to open as many of
these files as you need to determine whether the files are necessary or redundant!

  Draggin' Viewer Installation
  ----------------------------

The archive file you just unzipped, DRAGGN.ZIP, contains this file
and the file DVV300S.ZIP. Copy DVV300S.ZIP to a temporary directory,
and unzip it. It will create the following files:

    Name Size Date Time
  ------------ ------ -------- --------
  DRAGGIN.EXE 49321 11-04-96 3:00a
  DRAGGIN.HLP 73975 11-04-96 3:00a
  SUBEZ.VBX 17408 03-11-93 4:09a
  FXTLS400.DLL 72368 06-15-96 4:00p
  IMGFX400.DLL 180768 09-05-96 4:00p
  FXIMG400.VBX 63840 06-06-96 4:00p

Please see the Windows Help file DRAGGIN.HLP for complete Installation
and Operations instructions. If you have associated .HLP files with the
Windows Help application, just double-click on DRAGGIN.HLP in the File
Manager; otherwise run WINHELP.EXE and open DRAGGIN.HLP using the "File"
  menu.

utility. Smartclp is a Windows Clipboard enhancer, PM Fonts allows you
to change your Program Manager fonts from the Microsoft default to any
installed screen font and PM Group Sorter allows you to choose the order
