INFORMATION:

These files allow you to encode a plain text file into an undecipherable form
and then decode the file back to it's original state.

These neat little tools are very simple to use. You hardly have to enter any
information. The encoding and decoding processes are very quick indeed.

You can use a password to lock the file if you like.

Only normal text available directly from the keyboard can be used (ie. you
cannot use ALT + keypad to use spurious characters!

Test them on this file!

*****************************************************************************

USAGE:

It is very simple to use these simple but effective tools:

        To encode the text file:

                ENCODE <filename>

        To decode the text file:

                DECODE <filename>

*****************************************************************************

DISCLAIMER:

I have tested these programs thoroughly and I have never had any problems but
I recommend you back up important text files before encoding them and I
accept no responsibility for ANY loss or damage.

FEEDBACK:

I want some feedback on these. You do not have to register, just e-mail me
and let me know what you think. Please send any complaints, suggestions or
bug reports to the address at the top.

These tools are suitable for sending text files over the HAM radio network
(that is probrably a bad description of HAM radio but I know nothing about
HAM radio). It was a HAM radio friend of mine that asked me to write these
and he loves them (as do many of his HAM radio friends!).
