Welcome to Sifter!

A proper help file is in the works, but for the meantime this TXT file will introduce you
to the basic features of Sifter.

File (Alt-F)
Refresh (F5) - will update the file list box and return you to the first file in
the current directory. Useful if you have moved any files from the current
		directory while running Sifter.
Configure Targets - Takes you to the screen where you may setup the name and
directory for up to 24 'targets'.
Exit (CTRL-X) - terminates the Sifter application.

Options (Alt-O)
Delete on convert - If this is checked, Sifter will delete the original file
anytime you perform a conversion. If for some reason you are converting
GIF to GIF or JPG to JPG this option should NOT be checked.
Show statistics - when checked, the Sifter form will grow downward and display the
total number of images in the current directory, the amount of HD space
saved through the deletion of images, the size and resolution of the
		current image.
Extended file formats - when checked, Sifter will also view BMP, PCX, PNG and TIF
images. These formats may also be converted to GIF or JPG.
Use Targets - when checked, the Sifter form will grow rightward and display 24
user configureable 'Targets'. Targets are different directories to move
your files to. This is for those of you who like to seperate your graphics
into different directories based on categories (ie. blonde, brunette, etc).

Main form controls:
--> GIF - converts the current image to a GIF image.
--> JPG - converts the current image to a JPG image. Converting a JPG image to a
JPG image may in some cases result in a smaller JPG image but may also
decrease image quality. Use with caution.
Delete - permanently deletes the current image from the current directory. This
does NOT move the file to the Recycle Bin. Pressing the 'DEL' key is the
same as using the Delete button.
Single click on image - brings up the full size view of the image.

Full size view controls:
Single click on image - closes full size view and returns to main form.

** PUZZ??B.DLL - This DLL should be placed in your path somewhere, preferably in the
directory that you run Sifter from or your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
