    LOTUS EXPRESS

        * Customer report * One user reports that Lotus Express works with an
Intel 9600EX when you use this command in the Connection
        Initialization string:

            ATV1X1DT@N1{CONNECT}@M

    MTE/MTEZ

All of Intel's modems are defined in MTE and MTEZ's setup, and no extra
        setup is required.

    PC ANYWHERE VERS|ON 3.X

This program is compatible with Intel modems. The PC Anywhere file
AWMODEMX.CNF contains a list of supported modems. If Intel modems are
not in this list, you must download the latest AWMODEMX.CNF file from
DMA's bulletin board system. All of Intel's modems are listed in the
        latest version of this file.

        DMA's BBS number is (516) 736-1494.

    PC ANYWHERE VERS|ON |V

This program is compatible with Intel modems. The PC Anywhere IV
AWMODEM.CNF file lists all Intel 2400bps modems. If you want to use a
14.4EX or 9600EX and it isn't listed, you must download the latest
        AWMODEMX.CNF file from DMA's BBS.

        DMA's BBS is (516) 736-1494.

Special notes about SatisFAXtion and PC Anywhere:

It is possible to use PC Anywhere IV to set up remote Faxing on a
computer with an Intel SatisFAXtion Board. The SatisFAXtion fax and
modem MUST be set to answer on the same number of rings. The fax answer
portion can be set in the SETUP program under Advanced Setup/Set Up
        Technical Software Options/Rings to Answer.

The rings until answer option on the modem is set in PC Anywhere |V in
the "PC Anywhere Hardware Configuration". You must also use "EXIT" and
select "Allow incoming calls" option when starting PC Anywhere 4 HOST.
Using any other HOST mode option will cause the computer to lock up if
        a fax comes in.

Set the time on the remote PC to your time, or at least note any time
difference between that PC and your time.

Ensure that a fax gets scheduled for 5 or 10 minutes in the future. If
this is not done, the fax board won't accept modem calls from that
        point on.

Disconnect from the Host PC using the EX|T, ALLOW INCOMING CALLS option
of PC Anywhere 4. This will allow the HOST PC to release the modem and
allow it to send the fax.
