			 SELF DISPLAY TEXT FILES

When generating a source text file with EDIT.EXE, or the text editor
of your choice, you may insert the following display control characters
in the file. These characters are used by the ANSI store function of
EDIT.EXE, by CTXT2COM.COM, and by MTXT2COM.COM to control the text
display. These functions allow creation of auto display text with none
or minimal keyboard intervention. Supported functions are :

     Ctrl-G "07h" Toggle character display off/on
Ctrl-H "08h" ANSI Back Space and Text Toggle auto line clear on/off
Ctrl-K "0Bh" Clear current cursor line
Ctrl-L "0Ch" Clear screen and home cursor
Ctrl-R "12h" Load new display rate (Must be followed by rate number)
Ctrl-S "13h" Halt display till a "Space" is entered
Tab "09h" Go to next standard DOS eight character tab position
CrLf "0Dh,0Ah" These are inserted by EDIT.EXE for end of line.

The following entries from the keyboard are recognized during display :

Esc Press "Esc" key to terminate display
1-0 Press number keys to control display rate (0=Fastest)
Space Press space bar to stop / start display
			 Enter "Space" to continue
			 SELF DISPLAY TEXT FILES

If you enter the command "CTXT2COM", with no command options the routine
will give you the following prompt :

To display a color text file or create a self displaying .COM file.

    Enter filename ? ................................................

    Entry format : drive:\yourdir\filename.extent /speed /continue /new

    For /speed option : (/0 = System speed), (/1-/9 = Bauds 600-1M),
/c = Redisplay till other than 0-9 pressed.
/n = Create a self displaying .COM routine.

			    Press "Esc" to exit !

			 Enter "Space" to continue
			 SELF DISPLAY TEXT FILES

The options of continuous display, display speed, and create a .COM self
display file may be entered as command line options(i.e. MTXT2COM TEXT.DOC
/3/c/n). This will create a self display file TEXT.COM to display at about
2400 baud rate and continue to redisplay until the "Esc' key is pressed. A
number key pressed will change display rate and the space bar pressed will
  stop and restart display.
CTXT2COM displays full color text and MTXT2COM displays mono text in one
user selected color on selected background color. Without the /c option
MTXT2COM ignores control characters and prompts to continue at a page end.
This file is mono text and is fully contained in README.COM. It was created
using Ctrl-L for clear screen and Ctrl-S for page halt and handed to
  MTXT2COM with the /c/n options.
These routines are supplied in the RO-SOFT DOS Utilities package :

EDIT50.EXE : MONO and COLOR TEXT EDITING and DISPLAY registration = 29.95
