LOCKUPS WHILE INITIALIZING LINES
--------------------------------

PROBLEM

The system can lockup when the local console says "Initializing" on all the
lines.

SOLUTION

This type of lockup always indicates an insufficient FILES= setting in your
CONFIG.SYS file. Edit the CONFIG.SYS file (located in the root directory of
your hard disk) and increase the number associated with FILES=. There is a
rough formula for calculating the required number in your TBBS manual on page
1-6. (Increase this number by 25% if you run TDBS.)
