ULEDIT PRINT COMMAND NOT IMPLEMENTED
------------------------------------

Many people have asked eSoft about the lack of a print feature in TBBS 2.2's
ULEDIT program. When selected from ULEDIT, an error message is generated
which says "command not implemented."

The print command which has been a part of ULEDIT for a number of years was a
very raw, very rough "dump" of user information to paper. As such, it was
useful only for the purposes of backup, for which an electronic copy of the
userlog file is more appropriate. The print function never supported features
such as label printing, etc., which many sysops new to TBBS 2.2 might
otherwise expect.

Although a space was made for the feature in the ULEDIT menu, we made a
decision during the development of TBBS 2.2 not to implement the feature. An
oversight during product development ended up in the feature being left in the
menu but not actually implemented.

For printing of userlog data, you should look to a third party utility. There
are such utilities available; browse the file areas online on the Support
Board.
