LOGON OPTIONS SETTINGS DO NOT TAKE EFFECT

Many customers have complained that settings on the LOGON OPTIONS screen in 
CEDIT do not take effect when changes are made.  Settings on this screen 
govern such things as first name/last name prompts, verify caller location, 
status information displays, news files, etc.  

TBBS 2.2 has the ability to offer "custom" logon options on a per-line basis.  
When custom logon options are set for a line, they will override the main 
logon options settings.

Some copies of TBBS 2.2 have been delivered with a custom logon option screen 
set for line 1.  This is the most common cause of logon options not appearing
to work. 

To rectify the situation, follow these steps:

 - Run CEDIT.
 - Select COM PORTS.
 - Select PORT DEFINITIONS.
 - Select line 1.
 - Press F4.
 - Press F2.
 - Answer YES to the dialog box that will appear.
 - Save changes on the way out of CEDIT.

The problem should be rectified.
