USING A RAM DISK WITH TBBS
--------------------------

eSoft does not generally recommend that you use a RAM disk with TBBS. As a
TSR, especially one that uses memory aggressively, a RAM disk creates a
conflict possibility when used with TBBS.

If you choose to use one, take this information into account:

1) You cannot use it on an XT or AT class computer with TBBS, due to the
memory architecture of these machines.

2) When used on 386, 486 or Pentium based computers, make sure that the RAM
disk is configured to use extended (XMS) memory, and *NOT* expanded (EMS)
memory. TBBS uses EMS memory, and putting a RAM disk there too creates an
extremely high probability for conflicts.
