RECOMMENDED MEMORY MANAGER SETTINGS
-----------------------------------

We are often asked what the proper settings are for the memory managers QEMM
and 386Max. They are:

For QEMM:
        NO
        NOSH
        NV
        NR
        NS

For 386Max:
        NOROM
        NOHIGH
        NOLOADHI
        NOLOW
        NOXBIOS
        NOXRAM

Consult the manual for your memory manager for details on how to specify
command line parameters for the manager you run.

For HIMEM.SYS and EMM386.EXE, the memory managers that come with DOS 5 and DOS
6, the default switches are generally acceptable (except that EMM386.EXE may
need a switch to specify how much EMS memory should be made available to
programs like TBBS).
