---- The ZiffNet Monthly Shareware Review -----
              Volume 1, Issue 3 - October, 1993

The ZiffNet Monthly Shareware Review is dedicated to informing
the public about the latest news and highlights about the
downloadable software available on ZiffNet. This highly
graphical hypertext newsletter features in-depth reviews and
updated information on the newest and most popular shareware
programs available. It is distributed online in the form of a
Windows Help file, and can be read by anyone running Windows
3.1.

Windows Help files are run using the Microsoft Windows Help
Engine (WINHELP.EXE), which is included with Windows. You can
start the ZiffNet Monthly Shareware Review in one of the
following ways:

1) In most cases, the Windows File Manager automatically runs
WINHELP.EXE whenver you double-click on a file with the extension
.HLP. If this does not work, you need to "associate" .HLP files
with the program WINHELP.EXE. Please consult your manuals or
online help for instructions.

2) You can use the File | Open command from the menu bar when any
Help file is active and then select the ZiffNet Monthly Shareware
Review file. You can quickly bring up a Help file by pressing
[F1] while Program Manager is active.

--- SPECIAL NOTE ON SOUND FILES (.WAV) ---

This issue allows you to sample sounds from programs available on
ZiffNet. The .WAV files that were packaged in this ZIP archive
must be placed in the same directory as the Windows Help file
(ZSHARExx.HLP) in order to be used correctly. In addition, you
must have a sound device set up with Windows 3.1. For more
information, please consult your Windows manuals, or contact us
online in the ZiffNet Support Forum on CompuServe.
